down the tubes! I wasn't feeling great today so I just spent the day laying around in bed. I have another little cold that is just enough to be annoying. I'm so tired of sneezing and coughing. Nothing like feeling like dirt while at work in very uncomfy chairs!
On the bright side, I have a movie to watch and a great book to read! I have the Secret Life of Bees which I think I'm going to save for a little later tonight when my eyes are too tired to read.
My book, Very Valentine by Adriana Trigiani. I'm at about page 130 and loving it. Almost 1/2 way but thank heavens, it's a triology! Love those!
Friday night I had dinner out with the girls. We had a really good time and went to TGIFridays. We somehow got talking about books and reading. There were 5 of us and 3 of us are readers. The other 2 were potheads in High school so I think that explains it. LOL We kept saying we wanted to start a book club. Then on Saturday ngiht I was at the CYO dance that we have for the kids. I'm in the kitchen talking to a few moms and I mention the book club. There's a few girls there that want to do it too. Now, should I be the brave one that starts all this???? Do I dare or am I asking for trouble and headaches? I have no idea of how to "run" a bookclub or a meeting. But I'm thinking of emailing the girls that wanted in and asking how serious they are. I mean this doesn't have to be a huge serious bookclub. Just something that is for fun. I gotta think about this one a little more. Hmmmm.......
