I had been trying the other perfumes that I have on my dresser that have been there for years. Some of which I really think I'm going to throw away! I couldn't stand the smell of myself yesterday and I had on Oscar! I bet I've had that one for at least 10 years. I did try Sunflowers one day. It was just okay. I know I've had that one for 14 years. J was in the hospital when he was a baby and one of the nurses had it on. I liked it and bought it. Yeah, 14 years that's been sitting there. I had a few Avon perfumes from when I sold Avon, oh like, before I was married. I've been married for almost 18 years. Guess I should let them go too. You would think after having them that long and moving 3 times, they would have been pitched years ago. Not by this pack rat though!
So, I'm back to my old faithful tried and true perfume...Jovan White Musk! I think next time I'm at Walmart I'll grab a few more bottles just so I don't go through this depressing withdrawl again!
I don't think I've ever smalled that scent. I'll have to just so I can think of you.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scent is Estee Lauder's Pleasures. I smell amazing when I wear it.
You have to go to Target and smell me! I get compliments on it all the time. I've had cashiers, men in line and even a priest ask me what it was, I smelled so good.
ReplyDeleteI love Estee Lauder's Pleasure's too. As for how long you've had some of these perfumes...their scent starts to change after 1 year, so they probably don't smell much like their young selves anymore!
ReplyDeleteJovan White Musk is a wonderful scent Lori. You should try and catch the gift packages after Christmas at Wally World and stock up then. Red Door is my go to scent. My sister got me Red one year and I found out that my new nephew really likes that scent so I'd wear it every time I'd see him and am completely out. I got some Angelfire from Tracy a few months ago and I'm nearly out of that too. But, but, but I've found out I get more compliments when I wear Vanilla Musk by Coty. Why I don't ever think to buy it is beyond me.

ReplyDeleteHmm, I'm not familiar with that one. My current scent is Butterfly Flower from B&BW and I get a ton of compliments on it. I love Pink and Love Spell from Victoria's Secret as far as sprays go. For actual perfume, I like Reaction by Kenneth Cole & Tommy Girl.
