Whatcha readin'?

This morning while I was tossing and turning in bed, I managed to finally finish my current read. I finished Judas Child by Carol O'Connell. It was taking me way too long to read this book. It's not that it wasn't good, it actually was very good, but for some reason, I just didn't have my reading groove on. Like I said, it's a very good book and probably would have been much better if I had read it faster without so much time in between picking it up and reading it. I recommend it to anyone looking for a good mystery/suspense type book. I also really liked Carol O'Connell's Bone by Bone.

And since I was such a good girl and finished my book, I got to start a new one today! I'm already about 50 pages into it too. I started Undone by Karin Slaughter. I'm a huge Slaughter fan and couldn't wait to get my hands on this one and dive in. Of course, I'm hooked! I think I'm going to enjoy this one by her and I can't wait for some reading time this weekend on the deck!

So what books are you reading this week? I'd love to hear!

  1. I don't have my reading groove on either, right now, either.

I'm bouncing between a few books. I have a few on my nightstand and I read whatever strikes me at that time.

  2. I'm reading Knit Two. It's just not as good as the first one. There's a lot of getting into the characters in this sequel so I'm hoping after they explain what everyone has been through and done for the last 5 years that it gets better. It could also be that I had to wait 3 months to be able to read it too that is making it a slow read for me. I'm about half way through. Hopefully the pace picks up soon.

  3. Carol O'Connell is an author I've always wantedto try. It's good to know I should start Bone by Bone.
